There are surface scratches that I'm certain can be buffed out and that is it. I am not as liberal with condition description but it is very very clean, I absolutely give this excellent plus. It is not mint but I think there are people that may say it is near mint. Even without the signature this is a very cool buy with the original case and the fact it is all there and so clean. Chrome hardware and this is the NJ series that is known for it's top quality. It's got a black finish with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard.

If you want a serious hardcore axe then look no further. The NJ series overall was a shredder series that was built solid and has an incredible amount of punch. This is not anything like the standard cases of today and this guitar is also not like anything that is coming out today. This is form fitting and is a very hard tolex case. The case is definitely original and that is fantastic. This is 100% as far as playing and it is still in great shape for a 30 year old guitar. There was never a backplate so that is not missing, the trem springs are supposed to. There is a good deal of scratching and some sort of abrasions on the top(pic 8) There are no breaks whatsoever and there is nothing that is noticeable from a distance, i.e. The guitar is set up and all of the electronics are working and it is definitely ready to tear down a stage. In addition these old NJ series necks feel great to play and this has the original Floyd Rose locking tremolo which is also functional. These guitars tear and that is no joke, this has incredible highs, crunch and just a fantastic metal sound.
